Mission statement: The mission of Milwaukee Islamic Weekend Academy (MIWA) is to gain the pleasure of Allah (S.W.T) by providing authentic Islamic knowledge and understanding to our students in order to build a vibrant Muslim Community.

Our School : Milwaukee Islamic Weekend Academy (MIWA) is a religious weekend school which is in session every Saturday and Sunday from the months of September through June of the following year with the school hours of

9:30am until 1:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays

​

We are located on the north side of Milwaukee within a growing Muslim Community.

Our weekend school began in 2011 and has grown tremendously in the years since and inshaa' Allah will continue to grow. Reinforcing what is written in our mission statement, we are seeking to gain the pleasure of our Creator, Allah (swt) by providing our students with the Islamic knowledge and understanding needed to build a vibrant Muslim Community.

School Semester: September through June of the following year with the last 2 weeks of Ramadan off (based on the lunar calendar) 

​

Admission: Ages 4 (must be bathroom trained) and up to 18 years old

​

Tuition: $60.00 for each student

             $30.00 for the second student (sibling)

    $15.00 for each additional sibling

​

Curriculum: There are four classroom levels, including kindergarten

1. Learn basic Arabic reading and writing in order to read,  write and recite Qur'an with understanding

2. Learn Juz Amma of Qur'an 

3. Tawheed

4. Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (saw)

5. Hadith

6. Fiqh
